Eric Zinner is the Associate Director and Editor-in-Chief of New York University Press. Acquiring books in American studies, literary and cultural studies, and media and communication, he has launched numerous notable series. His books have won over 100 awards and focus on issues concerning race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, visual culture, disability, and aesthetics, among other areas.

Jennifer Homans is the Dance Critic for The New Yorker and the author of Mr. B: George Balanchine’s 20th Century (2022) and Apollo’s Angels: A History of Ballet (2010). Homans was a professional dancer and performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet before earning a BA at Columbia University and a PhD in Modern European History at New York University, where she is now a Distinguished Scholar in Residence and the Founding Director of the Center for Ballet and the Arts.
