ON BEING HUMAN FIRST-YEAR SEMINARS
These College of Arts & Science seminars introduce students to the building blocks of humanistic discourse, and teach them how the humanities shape critical issues in other fields such as economics, law, politics, and the natural sciences.
GRANTS FOR CONFERENCES
The Center for the Humanities has limited funding to assist conferences with a humanistic theme held at NYU in New York City or at a global location with up to $5,000.
GRANTS FOR BOOK PUBLICATION SUBVENTIONS
The Center makes available a limited number of grants in support of the publication of books with a humanistic focus, for costs incurred in the publication of monographs, edited collections, or translations.
NYU DIGITAL HUMANITIES SEED GRANT
NYU Digital Humanities Seed Grant is intended to fund the initial development of new research projects that will analyze digital sources, apply algorithmic methods to humanities data, or create digital publications, exhibits, or websites.

OPEN ACCESS MONOGRAPH PUBLISHING INITIATIVE
The goal of this program is to advance the wide digital dissemination of scholarship in the humanities and humanistic social sciences to all readers with internet access.
