New this year, the Open Access Monograph Publishing Initiative endeavors to expand the digital dissemination of humanities and humanistic social sciences by publishing free, open access, digital editions of peer-reviewed and professionally edited monographs. The NYU Office of the Provost, Center for the Humanities, and Division of Libraries invite submissions for grants from faculty in full-time positions at NYU to support the publication of open access digital monographs.
The program will provide $15,000 for scholarly monographs authored by NYU faculty and published by a nonprofit scholarly publisher. The funding will be provided to the publisher to make the work open access upon publication.
Please see the Open Access Monograph Publishing Initiative webpage for additional information and instructions on how to apply. The application deadline is October 16th.
