Kaya is a Drama major and Gilman Scholar currently studying with the Experimental Theatre Wing at the Tisch School of the Arts. She appeared in ETW’s Spring 2026 MainStage production How to Build a Universe, which the company wrote, devised and choreographed themselves and she now makes her feature film debut in the upcoming film One Second After.
Minoring in Philosophy under CAS with a specific focus on feminist philosophy, her research essay which explored the compatibility between Christianity and Feminism was chosen to be presented at the Pathways for Discovery Symposium.
Merging her creative abilities and academic interests to examine how women have been impacted artistically and societally throughout time, she can now be found in the upcoming ETW MainStage production of Eurydice by Sara Ruhl – a contemporary take on the original feminocentric Greek tragedy.
