Alishba Murad is a student at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she is pursuing a concentration in diversity in multimedia with an emphasis on film and television. She is passionate about harnessing media as a catalyst for social change, examining its influence on identity formation, perceptions, and biases. Currently, she aims to create short films that thoughtfully address these important societal issues.

Alishba has developed her concentration by participating in research projects at Gallatin, collaborating with other filmmakers, and taking interdisciplinary courses that bridge theory and creative practice across different schools at New York University.
