Sunny Liang majors in Nutrition and Food Studies at NYU Steinhardt. She is interested in how food shapes personal identity. Drawing on history, science, psychology, community studies, and marketing, she examines eating as more than a biological act: it is also shaped by culture, emotion, and commercial influence. Her academic interests explore the space where body, mind, and society meet, often through everyday questions about why we eat the foods we love.
