Anthony Escamilla is a Pre-PA/PhD undergraduate at NYU Gallatin studying “Public Health Interventions, Latin American Identity, and the Ethics of Care” while also pursuing an accelerated 4+1 program at NYU GPH to receive his MPH in “Community Health Science and Practice.” His interests center on health equity, migration, and Latinx cultural history. At NYU, he works with The Latinx Project, engaging with Latinx art and scholarship, and explores how culture, identity, and lived experience shape health, care, and belonging within historically underserved urban communities.
