The Cave Without a Name
Jessica Bardsley is an artist and scholar working in the environmental humanities. She is a 2025 Guggenheim Fellow in Film-Video. Her films have screened at venues like Sundance, CPH:DOX, Visions du Réel, and on the Criterion Channel. Her research has been supported by the Radcliffe Institute, the Terra Foundation for American Art, and the Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS. Her book Fluid Materiality: A Media Theory of Water in Contemporary Art is forthcoming from MIT Press.
